Purpose You are responsible for supporting the implementation, and monitoring of health, safety, security, and environmental within operational activities. You ensure that all activities performed offshore comply with HSSE regulations and standards, contributing to a safe and sustainable work environment. Responsibilities You implement and maintain HSSE programs, standards and policies. You conduct or participate in detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies. You support or lead investigations into HSSE incidents and near‑misses, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions. You monitor compliance with HSSE regulations and standards in operational activities, conducting audits and inspections as necessary. You support initiatives aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainability in engineering practices. You develop and maintain HSSE documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and regulatory compliance reports. You assist in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans, ensuring that engineering teams are prepared for potential incidents. You identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSSE practices, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of engineering and operational processes. Education Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience Experience in an HSSE engineering role, preferably within the offshore oil and gas industry or a similarly regulated sector.
