Commercial Operations Specialist

As a key contributor to Pega’s Commercial Operations Team, you will report directly to our Manager of Commercial Operations supporting our global client contract function. You will work day-to-day with Sales, Business Officers, Cloud Operations, and various Finance teams to manage commercial agreements with new and existing clients. Picture Yourself at Pega As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you are responsible for mission‑critical contract lifecycle operations while supporting Pega’s future growth and scalability. Commercial Operations works day‑to‑day with Sales, Business Officers, Cloud Operations, and various Finance teams to manage commercial agreements with new and existing clients. What You’ll Do at Pega Manage the Pega Contract process through to fulfillment. Ensure orders are processed timely in accordance with executed contracts. Track and monitor quarter‑end deals, working closely with the legal teams to address potential issues proactively before contract execution. Ensure compliance with revenue recognition requirements and Pega‑internal controls such as the Approval & Signature Matrix. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to support the order‑to‑cash process. Participate in improvement projects to increase operational efficiency. Build relationships with internal partners to resolve issues promptly and recommend process improvements. Work additional hours as needed during month/quarter close activities. Participate in special projects or ad‑hoc assignments. Who You Are A detail‑oriented multitasker responsible for mission‑critical contract lifecycle operations. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player, also able to work independently. Results‑oriented with the self‑motivation to continuously learn and develop your skills. What You’ve Accomplished Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related concentration. 2‑4 years of experience in software contract administration. Order management experience is a plus. MS Office expertise. Attention to detail and self‑starter mindset. Demonstrated problem‑solving capabilities for complex contract inquiries. Ability to meet schedules and deadlines. Proven multi‑tasking and time‑management skills. Capable of working independently and within a team. Successfully supported a global contract function for a SaaS‑based company. Excelled in a cross‑functional role supporting multiple business units. Participated in large‑scale projects and built strong relationships with business stakeholders and senior leaders. Additional Information Base salary range for this role is BRL annually. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission, as well as benefits and other incentives. The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions, and may vary from the posted range.
