About The Team: The Risk Team develops the defense layer that keeps CloudWalk, its merchants, and users safe. We monitor malicious activity, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide a great user experience. You will collaborate with risk analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to improve risk management strategies.

About The Job: As a Data Scientist on our Risk Team, you will develop and optimize machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud. Your role involves data analysis, building predictive models, and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance risk management. You will handle large datasets, extract insights, and develop algorithms to protect our ecosystem.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluency in Python and SQL
  • Proficiency with ML libraries like Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow
  • Experience with cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong data visualization skills for creating dashboards
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote, distributed team
  • Effective communication skills in English and Portuguese

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience in financial or payment industries
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and parallel computing
  • Understanding of DevOps practices like CI/CD and containerization
