PositionLead, Mission Critical Commissioning
ResponsibilitiesWhat this job involves:
- Drive excellence in mission-critical commissioning by leading specialized teams, establishing best practices, and ensuring successful project delivery for complex data center environments. This leadership role combines technical commissioning expertise with strategic project management to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.
- Developing and implementing industry-leading commissioning methodologies specifically tailored for mission-critical facilities
- Leading a team of commissioning project managers in a player/coach capacity
- Overseeing multiple concurrent commissioning projects while directly managing key client engagements
- Serving as technical authority for complex commissioning challenges and strategic decisions
- Serving as primary point of contact for high-value client relationships
- Establishing and maintaining rigorous quality assurance frameworks and verification protocols
- Coordinating effectively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Contributing technical expertise to RFPs, client pitches, and business development initiatives
- Driving continuous improvement of commissioning processes through innovation and best practice implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 7-10+ years of experience in project management and commissioning within data center/mission-critical environments
- Demonstrated leadership experience in technical team management
- Advanced understanding of commissioning principles and methodologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of data center infrastructure and critical systems
- In-depth understanding of commissioning processes for complex integrated systems
- Proven ability to develop and mentor technical professionals
- Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to travel to project sites as required
Preferred:
- Experience with industry standards and regulations for critical environments
- Proficiency with project management and commissioning software platforms
- Excellent communication abilities across all organizational levels
- Strategic thinking with focus on both tactical execution and long-term planning
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Ability to prioritize effectively across competing demands
- Commitment to continuous professional development and industry engagement
Estimated total compensation for this position:
105,300.00 – 210,000.00 USD per year
The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
