Key Roles and Responsibilities: This role involves overseeing the health, performance, and availability of enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, DynaTrace, NewRelic) on a daily basis. Ensure optimal system performance by performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and configuration tuning. Triage and resolve monitoring-related incidents and service tickets in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to integrate monitoring solutions and enhance visibility. Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to support operational and business needs. Participate in on-call rotations and provide incident response support. Document operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to ensure knowledge sharing. Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve reliability. About the Ideal Candidate: We are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer who can lead our Enterprise Monitoring team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills. Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering with a focus on monitoring and analytics. Strong understanding of Splunk, DynaTrace, and NewRelic. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Possession of certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent.
