Overview
Our client is one of the United States' largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premium well over US$25 Billion (P&C). They serve more than 10 million U.S. households with more than 19 million individual policies across all 50 states through approximately 48,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 18,500 employees. The position is within Personal Lines Auto Insurance, focusing on supporting pricing decisions that affect millions of policies nationwide.
Responsibilities- Develop quarterly actuarial indications and prepare rate filing materials for Departments of Insurance across the US.
- Analyze loss and premium trends and assess overall rate level needs.
- Communicate findings to State Management and ensure each of 50 state books is priced with precision.
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Advance/Fluent English
- Knowledge in P&C insurance (auto preferred)
- Strong knowledge in Excel/VBA
- MS Office Suite
- Strong communications skills and attention to detail
