Gameplay Programmer

USF Games is an innovative game development studio dedicated to crafting immersive and innovative gaming experiences within the Action RPG genre. We plan to be one of the region's leading single player studios within the next few years. To this end, we are seeking a talented Gameplay Programmer with expertise in C++ and Unreal Engine 5 to join our dynamic team. As a Gameplay Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our upcoming projects, contributing to the creation of engaging gameplay mechanics, systems, and features.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other programmers to implement gameplay features and mechanics within Unreal Engine 5.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C++ to ensure high-quality gameplay experiences.
• Optimize gameplay systems for performance and memory usage on multiple platforms.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth gameplay functionality throughout development.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in game development technology and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Gameplay Programmer, with a strong focus on Unreal Engine 5 development.
• Have at least one AA or AAA game shipped. Equivalent experience in other console/PC games may be considered.
• Proficiency in C++ programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 5's gameplay systems, Blueprints, and development tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Fluid English or Spanish is a MUST.
