Job Description:

An international financial institution is modernizing its IT systems by adopting new technologies and integrating with external providers. Several projects will be undertaken in the coming years, focusing on trading, market data, and risk management.

We are seeking a seasoned developer to join our team and contribute to the success of these initiatives.

  • Develop and integrate derivative trading applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, including traders, operations, and strategists
  • Translate business requirements into technical design specifications
  • Identify technology solutions for enhancements or new initiatives
  • Implement unit and integration test cases using industry-standard frameworks
  • Document changes necessary to support business operations
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

We require a candidate with significant experience in enterprise development, Java/JDK 8+, and expertise in the following areas:

  • High-performance and distributed applications
  • Message brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
  • Cache/in-memory data grids (Redis, Hazelcast, or similar)
  • REST/SOAP/gRPC
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP) and object-oriented design (OOD)
  • Concurrency and multithreading
  • Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
  • Strong SQL and database knowledge
  • Automated testing (TDD, BDD, Mutation testing)
  • Linux command-line skills
  • Experience working in geographically distributed and asynchronous teams
