Position/Title: Support Engineer/ConsultantThe Support Engineer will provide front-line support for systems and products in the mining and grain industries. Responsibilities include utilizing support systems to ensure maximum uptime, meeting response times, and exceeding defect resolution criteria.
Experience & Skill SetsMust Have- Proficiency in Portuguese
- Local presence in Vitoria
- Understanding of IEC 61131 programming standards
- Up to 2 years’ experience in Control Systems Engineering or relevant internships
- Knowledge of XML standards and tools
- Experience with Microsoft SQL and basic scripting
- Troubleshooting Delphi and .NET applications
- Experience in machine control
- Knowledge of control system architectures, PLC design, and programming
- Excellent communication skills, professional interaction with diverse groups
- Compliance with client HSE/WHS policies
- Experience in on-call support roles
- Exposure to mining or agribusiness industries
- Training provided for the Support Engineer role
- Provide Tier 1 support via phone and email, including rotating on-call duties
- Respond to support requests promptly
- Log and analyze support requests and defects
- Coordinate defect resolution with engineering
- Track support cases to completion
- Perform regression testing and manage product releases
- Generate reports on support activities
