We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a focus on database optimization and scalable software development. In this role, you\'ll lead initiatives to enhance database performance and develop robust backend systems capable of handling high data volumes, particularly for revenue-driving features. What You Will Do Data Optimization and Database Performance: Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency, with a strong focus on query optimization, indexing strategies, and data architecture best practices Back-End Data Processing: Build and maintain efficient, scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes, prioritizing the optimization of revenue-driving features Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability OOP and Clean Code: Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable, effective software solutions Event-Driven Processes: Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems Must Haves 4+ years of experience with Python Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling Upper-Intermediate English Level NICE TO HAVES Background in data analytics Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks or integrations Perks and Benefits Professional growth: Accelerate your professional journey with mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps Competitive compensation: We match your ever-growing skills, talent, and contributions with competitive USD-based compensation and budgets for education, fitness, and team activities A selection of exciting projects: Join projects with modern solutions development and top-tier clients that include Fortune 500 enterprises and leading product brands Flextime: Tailor your schedule for an optimal work-life balance, with options for remote and office work Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
