**About the Team**:
- Responsible for supporting decision-making on Marketplace-related Fraud Prevention initiatives by structuring and conducting data analyses. The Data Associate should, with the manager’s guidance, help to propose creative approaches, collect data and interpret statistical information to answer complex questions and generate insights.- Rule/model management: Independently structure and conduct data analyses to support the construction of new Fraud rules and models or propose changes to the existing ones;
- Feature management: Build impact analysis to justify the implementation of new features that can improve our Fraud defenses;
- Loss reporting: Structure, build and maintain dashboards to actively track fraud losses and identify potential risks;
- Communication: Support the manager to create compelling presentations to effectively communicate key findings within own scope;
- Internal Benchmarks: Seek other teams (within or outside Fraud Prevention team) to get best practices related to data analysis and to ask for support when needed;
- Supporting other teams: Support other Shopee teams by providing information, conducting analyses and solving spot issues that lie within own scope of work;
- Target management: Assist on the creation of targets for marketplace fraud, monitor indicators and send alerts when needed (e.g. to shift priorities in order to achieve targets);
- External Benchmarks: Conduct external benchmark studies to gather best practices related to Data Analysis in the Fraud Prevention landscape.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or similar areas required;
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and SQL (Experience in other programming languages is a plus);
- Advanced English;
- Experience in any Data Analytics Role or other related roles;
- Experience in Fraud Prevention is a plus.
