Staff Accountant

Overview We are seeking an experienced accountant with strong client-facing skills to manage onboarding projects, clean up and set up accounting systems, and work with multiple clients across industries. Responsibilities Prepare accurate, accrual-basis financial statements. Perform detailed reconciliations for bank, credit card, merchant service, and loan accounts. Clean up and set up client accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage multiple onboarding projects at once, meeting deadlines and staying within budget. Communicate directly with clients to understand needs and deliver solutions. Use cloud-based accounting platforms and integrated tools to streamline processes (QuickBooks Online, Xero, A2X, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, etc.). Identify and communicate scope changes early to onboarding managers. Requirements 1-3 years of accounting experience (preferably in a small or mid-sized CPA firm). Strong knowledge of GAAP-based accounting and financial reporting. Experience working with multiple clients from different industries. C1 English fluency or equivalent Experience in a client-facing role and client onboarding processes QuickBooks Online certification is a plus but not mandatory E-commerce accounting experience Who thrives here Proactive communicators - not afraid to raise issues early.
