Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to play a key role in managing, optimizing, and evolving our data infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in PostgreSQL internals, Snowflake performance tuning, and SQL optimization. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with ETL from AWS Postgres to Snowflake, as well as strong skills in data modeling, monitoring, automation (Python), and orchestration tools such as Airflow and dbt. This project has a 3‑month duration. Responsibilities Design and maintain ETL pipelines from AWS Postgres databases to the Snowflake data warehouse. Audit and optimize SQL queries, PostgreSQL internals, and Snowflake performance for scalability and efficiency. Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation using tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, and Python scripting. Support data modeling, schema design, and orchestration with platforms such as Airflow and dbt. Qualifications And Job Requirements Hands‑on experience with ETL processes from AWS Postgres to Snowflake. Strong ability to audit and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability. Deep understanding of PostgreSQL internals (indexes, query planner, VACUUM, etc.). Expertise in Snowflake performance tuning and warehouse management. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch). Skills in data modeling and schema design. Proficiency in Python or scripting for workflow automation.
