Murex Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Murex professional to join our team as a consultant.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, a solid understanding of datamart, and at least 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.

• Implement, configure, and develop Murex systems in areas like datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
• Analyse and provide recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
• Ensure compliance with client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
• Support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
• Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
• Perform technical reviews of production changes.
• Document issues and resolutions clearly within confluence.
• Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches.
• Collaborate directly with business users across the bank to diagnose and resolve business critical issues.
• Resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting.
• Communicate issue details to vendors and coordinate testing fixes/solutions.
• Act as an intermediary between business and vendor teams.
• Debug and enhance bespoke java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
