We partner with stakeholders in the United States, Suriname, and Senegal to create sustainable impact through strategic investments in affordable housing, agribusiness, renewable energy, logistics, and financial services.**About the Role**: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven **Project Manager** to lead our agricultural development projects in Suriname, with a particular focus on agribusiness and sustainable development projects on cassava farming and agro-processing projects. This role is crucial in advancing our mission while ensuring operational excellence and maintaining community impact.**Key Responsibilities**:Project Planning and Execution- Lead project planning and implementation of agriculture projects, including cassava farming operations, agro-processing, and byproduct production.- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.- Monitor project milestones and deliverables.- Monitor and report on project performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for effective decision-making.- Implement monitoring and evaluation systems that are aligned with organizational goals and impact metrics.Stakeholder Management- Build and maintain relationships with local communities and authorities.- Maintain effective communication with international investors and partners.- Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration.- Lead and mentor a diverse team to achieve project goals.Risk Management- Identify and implement project risk mitigation strategies.- Implement sustainable practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Monitor and report on environmental and social impact.Operational Excellence- Develop and maintain project management systems.- Standardize processes across multiple projects.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.- Ensure quality control standards are met.**Required Qualifications**:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the agriculture sector- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred- Strong understanding of agricultural operations and agro-processing technologies- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Fluency in English; Dutch or local language proficiency is advantageousDesired Skills- Experience in impact investing or social enterprise- Knowledge of agricultural or renewable energy sectors- Understanding of ESG principles and impact measurement- Proficiency in project management software- Cross-cultural communication skillsCore Competencies- Strategic thinking and problem-solving- Strong organizational and planning abilities- Results-oriented with attention to detail- Adaptable to changing priorities- Excellent interpersonal skills- Cultural sensitivity and awarenessLocation and Travel- Position based in **SURINAME**:- Regular travel to project sites required- International travel as needed**We Offer**- Competitive salary package.- Relocation to Suriname is required, with assistance provided for moving expenses.- Housing support during the project tenure.- Travel allowance for project-related trips.- Professional development opportunities.- Impact-driven work environment.Expected Start Date: 20/02/2025
