Senior Software Architect, Brazil

We're seeking a software/solutions architect to work with multicultural teams serving one of the world's largest beverage clients. This stakeholder is focused on LATAM, primarily Mexico, so in addition to mandatory English skills, Spanish is highly desirable.

Your mission:

1. Define software architecture aligned with business needs, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and usability.
2. Evaluate and select technologies and frameworks for implementation based on project strategy.
3. Develop and validate system diagrams and documentation with the client.
4. Collaborate with development teams to guide and support architecture implementation.
5. Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
6. Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines.
7. Foster innovation by monitoring tech trends and suggesting new tools.
8. Ensure the team possesses the necessary technical knowledge through training.
9. Manage architectural backlog and prioritize improvements.
10. Participate in stakeholder meetings to align business needs and technical vision.
11. Ensure documentation and technical alignment with development progress.
12. Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams.
13. Optimize algorithms and automation using AI to enhance workflow and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Solution Architect (Microservices, SOA, Serverless, Monolithic).
• Solid experience in software development with technologies like relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, CosmosDB).
• Experience with Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and architecture governance.
• Familiarity with defining and managing non-functional requirements, load testing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with authentication/authorization architectures and observability solutions.
• Fluent English skills to work with multicultural team.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with diagram tools (Draw.io, Lucid) and clean code/design patterns.
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies and formal architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
