Responsibilities:
  1. Develop procedures and anticipate crisis intervention for acute illnesses and injuries.
  2. Maintain, assess, and interpret cumulative health data to address the individual needs of students and staff.
  3. Plan and implement health management protocols for school-aged children and children with special health needs, including medication administration.
  4. Promote and assist in the control of communicable diseases through preventive immunization programs, early detection, surveillance, and reporting of contagious diseases.
  5. Provide direct health education and health counseling to assist students and teachers.
  6. Support teachers on student health matters.
  7. Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, school policy, and administrative procedures.
  8. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and school facilities.
  9. Attend extracurricular activities beyond the regular school day.
  10. Attend faculty meetings and participate in committee meetings when requested.
  11. Assist in obtaining resources and support for students through Student Services.
  12. Perform other necessary and reasonable duties as assigned by the administration.
Requirements:
  1. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  2. Degree in Nursing.
  3. Proficiency in Google Suite.
  4. Experience in health administrative functions is preferred.
