Operational Security Senior Manager, Business Continuity

Role Overview:
The Operational Security Senior Manager is tasked with a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our betting system. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of the betting industry's regulatory landscape, advanced knowledge in business continuity planning, and a proactive stance on risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive Brazilian business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the bet365 betting system, ensuring minimal disruption to operations in the event of unforeseen incidents.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and formulate strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of business continuity plans, including regular drills and training sessions.
- Supporting incident and problem management practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading the organisation's response to Brazilian operational disruptions, ensuring swift recovery of services and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Collaborating with technology and security teams to strengthen the resilience of the betting system infrastructure.
- Keeping abreast of Brazilian industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in business continuity planning to continually enhance the robustness of operational procedures.
- Mentoring and lead the Brazilian business continuity capability, promoting a culture of preparedness and resilience across the organisation.
- Key engagement lead with the Brazilian regulator and authorities with regards business continuity matters.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in business continuity or disaster recovery role.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CBCP, MBCI) are highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business continuity planning, risk assessments, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective business continuity plans and manage operational disruptions.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with the capability to influence at all levels up to CEO.
- Outstanding communication skills, with proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and English.
- Must be in possession of a CPF and be a Brazilian Resident
