Senior Data Architect at BairesDev

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to design and lead enterprise-scale data solutions. This role combines deep data engineering expertise with architectural leadership, requiring strong technical skills in modern data platforms and cloud technologies. You\'ll be responsible for designing scalable data architectures while leading technical initiatives and mentoring development teams.

What You'll Do:
  • Design and implement enterprise-scale data architectures using Snowflake and cloud platforms.
  • Lead data engineering initiatives and establish architectural standards and best practices.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using Python and modern data tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership across data engineering teams.
  • Drive adoption of modern data engineering practices and tools across the organization.
What we are looking for:
  • 8-10 years of overall experience with Senior Data Engineer or Lead-level background.
  • 7-8 years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Experience in architecture design and technical leadership roles.
  • 2-3 years of recent Snowflake experience with certification or equivalent expertise.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on AWS experience.
  • 4-5 years of Python development experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) is a plus.
  • Advanced level of English.
