JOB PURPOSE

Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers. Getting the right services and materials, sustainably sourced and ensuring responsible procurement is critical to ensuring our brands with purpose grow. Our teams work closely with the business to understand stakeholders needs, bring innovation to meet changing consumer, employees, and customer’s needs, and drive financial value for Unilever through competitive buying. We’re at the forefront of digital procurement, bringing new tools and analytics to drive data-based decisions.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  1. Accountable for the implementation of the Utilities Procurement strategies and best practices for Brazil and Mexico.
  2. Support and lead procurement role in the extended Supply Chain decarbonization strategy regarding Portfolios.
  3. Support and guide procurement organization in Brazil and Mexico Factories to meet their Utilities targets and objectives.
  4. Pro-actively engage with the utility & Decarb procurement community and peers to understand the strategic plan in their respective PMU and drive best practices.
  5. Engage with key Utilities and Decarb suppliers and develop deep understanding of their capabilities and solutions.
  6. Be aware of Utilities, including New Green energies industry key drivers, innovative technologies, and new sustainable capabilities.
  7. Support identifying opportunities across Supply Chain and their connections with Utilities, Decarbonisation, Renewable Sources.
  8. Take ownership and lead projects across the key areas of Partnership with Purpose (PwP), RPP, Sustainability, CLM, F4G, Cash, People well-being, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  1. Completed graduation.
  2. Experienced in Utilities procurement areas is a plus.
  3. Experienced in setting up and managing complex supplier contracts.
  4. Experienced building and managing price trend for materials/services.
  5. Experienced in decarbonization, RE100 protocol and CO2 reduction strategies is a plus.
  6. Proven commercial operator and excellent negotiator.
  7. Experienced in stakeholder and supplier management.
  8. Strong communicator with experience in working successful in virtual team environments.
  9. Advanced excel.
  10. Fluent in Portuguese.
  11. Advanced in Spanish and/or English.
