Responsibilities Propose and analyzeinnovative ideas in the electrical design of distribution transformers to meet the challenging technical requirements of new markets. DefineDesign of Experiments (DoE) to validate proposed solutions. Design and supervise themanufacturing and testing of prototypes . Lead R&D project execution , ensuring performance, timelines, and costs are within expectations. Document project progress, draw conclusions, and developdesign rules based on validated solutions. Protect validated solutions through appropriateintellectual property (IP) strategies. Support fellow R&D colleagues across the global Hitachi Energy R&D community by analyzing and optimizing electrical designs in other projects. Providetechnical support to factories, sales teams, and customers when needed. Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values ofsafety and integrity in all activities. background Master’s degree or currently pursuing a master’s Degree inElectrical Engineering , with a focus onpower machinery .
