OSM Thome is currently seeking a 3rd Officer (3/O) to join our team on board the XT Honesty, a Tanker - Shuttle vessel. The position is located in Brazil, with the joining port in Rio De Janeiro. The vessel is flagged under Liberia.Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chief Officer in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel- Maintain navigational watch and ensure compliance with all safety and navigation procedures- Monitor and maintain the vessel's navigational equipment- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure crew members are familiar with emergency procedures- Assist in the loading and discharging of cargo- Maintain accurate records and reports related to navigation and cargo operations**Requirements**:- Valid STCW certification, including Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW)- Minimum of (number) years of experience as a 3rd Officer on Tanker vessels- Proficient in the use of navigational equipment and software- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety procedures- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a multicultural environment- Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
