No endless meetings here – if it can be done today, we're all about getting it done today.About the RoleWe’re seeking a Financial Operations Manager to lead the setup and enablement of our financial infrastructure across Latin America. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands regional business nuances, and can build scalable cross-border operations from the ground up. You’ll work at the core of our international expansion—setting up legal entities, enabling invoicing and payments in multiple currencies, and ensuring we can operate compliantly and efficiently throughout the region.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage local subsidiaries across LATAM, coordinating with legal, tax, and banking partners.Enable cross-border operations, including compliant invoicing, payments, and fund flows across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.Design and implement financial processes and systems that support international operations (e.G., AR/AP, payroll, tax compliance).Oversee multi-currency treasury operations, ensuring FX risk management and liquidity across markets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, People, Product, and Sales) to enable business scalability in each country.Act as the point of contact for external advisors, regulatory agencies, and banking partners across LATAM.Support internal reporting and investor communications with regional financial insights and documentation.What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or operations, ideally in high-growth or investment-driven environments.Proven experience setting up and managing legal entities in Latin America.Strong understanding of cross-border business operations, tax exposure, and regulatory frameworks.Familiarity with managing payments, payroll, and financial compliance in multiple currencies.Fluent in Spanish and English;
Portuguese proficiencyis a strong plus.Excellent organizational and analytical skills are required to effectively engage in systemic problem solving and innovative thinking in a timely, accurate, detail oriented manner.Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Availability to work from our Santiago or Sao Paulo Offices 4 days a week.Nice to HaveBackground in private equity, M&A, or venture-backed startupsExperience with financial systems (e.G., NetSuite, Rippling, Deel, QuickBooks)Legal or accounting training is a plusExpertise with Oracle NetSuiteAbout TopsortToday, Topsort has 5 major hubs worldwide, and employees in 13+ countries, including Menlo Park, Boston, Santiago Chile, Sao Paulo Brazil, Barcelona Spain, and Sydney Australia.
