Senior (AI) Full Stack Engineer Job Description As we expand our AI capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic AI team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on SUSE's AI team, you will be instrumental in implementing SUSE’s AI strategy and enhancing the adoption of our AI solutions. You should be comfortable with both front‑end and back‑end coding languages popular in AI‑applications, development frameworks, and third‑party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. Your work will ensure seamless integration and functionality of our AI solutions, contributing to the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient software products. The position is hybrid or remote based out of Brazil, Bulgaria or Czechia. Focus Areas Development Support: Assist in developing and optimizing both front‑end and back‑end components to enhance AI solution adoption. Program Implementation: Support the creation and execution of adoption programs tailored for scalability and performance. Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective integration and deployment of AI solutions. Technical Problem‑Solving: Address and troubleshoot technical issues, enhancing system reliability and performance. Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions. Build the front‑end of applications through appealing visual design. Develop and manage well‑functioning databases and applications. Write effective APIs. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software. Create security and data protection settings. Write technical documentation. Required Qualifications Strong experience in both front‑end and back‑end software development. Proficiency in front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. Strong back‑end development skills using languages like Python, Java, or Node.js. Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and server management. DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience with SUSE Linux or other Linux distributions. Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Generative AI experience. Experience with data privacy and security in deploying AI solutions. Prior experience working in AI/ML environments or on AI‑driven projects and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
