Cloud Support Engineer – Java + Unix/SQL - 12830 Starting Date: Immediately Contract: CLT on UltraCon's Customer Work Location: Onsite in São Paulo/SP @ Itaim Bibi Work Time: Business Hours Language: English Advanced About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, and AWS. The professional will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting critical cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance in a large-scale enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide end-to-end support for cloud applications, ensuring stability, scalability, and security; - Perform troubleshooting and debugging of AWS-based applications; - Monitor and analyzeincidents, identifying patterns, root causes, and long-term solutions; - Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders, clearly articulating technical and functional aspects of production issues; - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and support automation initiatives; - Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD and operational improvements; - Administer Unix/Linux systems, leveraging scripting for automation (Shell or Python); - Manage AWS services, including IAM, Lambda, ECS, S3, VPC, Security, Load Balancing, Monitoring & Audit. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills): - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field; - 6–9 years of experience in a Cloud Support Engineer role; - Strong knowledge ofAWS cloud infrastructure; - Advanced expertise with Unix/Linux operating systems, commands, and utilities; - Hands-on experiencewith Java and SQL in enterprise environments; - Practical experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code); - Scripting skills inShell or Python; - Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and functional issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have): - Experience in the Financial Services Industry; - Relevant AWS certifications (e.G., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer); - Background in large-scale, mission-critical environments. Soft Skills: - Problem-solving mindset: ability to address complex issues with analytical and structured approaches; - Clear communication: articulate technical insights across different levels of the organization; - Collaboration: work effectively with cross-functional and global teams; - Proactivity: anticipate risks and propose practical solutions; - Adaptability: thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities; - Attention to detail: ensure quality and precision in delivering critical support.
