JOB PURPOSE This role exists to work under the leadership of the Engineering and Technology Manager (Process &Pack) and is responsible for leading and implementing innovation, savings, capacity, and other SC projects. This will include supporting the development of technology strategies and process & pack technology logic to build a transformation in Deos PC consumer needs. The role will provide analytical support and lead in defining optimum technology criteria for innovation, capacity and saving projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate/co‑coordinate Process and Pack Technology support to agreed innovation projects (through diverse functional networks), facilitating the development of agreed common solutions when new machinery is required using Best Practice Tools and Processes (EEM, EMOC; Project Management). Generate capital estimates and detailed trial and installation programmes for the process and pack technology areas with other regional teams such as planning, R&D, etc. Develop new process technology solutions in response to strategy, assessing fit/impact with current operations. Develop understanding of the machine/material interfaces, ensuring optimum solutions are delivered. Work with key external partners/suppliers on developing new process technology to support innovations. Support R&D in developing innovations for key raw materials, ensuring that all aspects of the supply chain have been considered and optimised. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Engineering degree educated or equivalent experience. Good knowledge in consumer finished goods. Good knowledge in project management. Intermediate English proficiency.
