Join to apply for the Azure PaaS Governance Specialist (English Required) role at Avanade We are looking for a Technical Consultant specialized in Azure PaaS Governance to support enterprise clients in building secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments. This role demands deep expertise in Azure networking, governance frameworks, and access control, aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. You will collaborate across teams, apply proven frameworks, and deliver impactful solutions that align with business and regulatory needs. Skills and experiences Proven experience with Azure PaaS services and governance best practices Strong knowledge of Azure networking components and security controls Hands‑on experience with WAF configuration and traffic protection strategies Deep understanding of RBAC, identity management, and access governance in Azure Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and landing zone design Experience in client‑facing consulting roles, including workshops and technical delivery Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform) is a plus Microsoft certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑305, or AZ‑500 are desirable Fluency in English is required About you Exceptional communication skills Conflict resolution and decision‑making skills in fast‑paced, multicultural environments Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high‑energy setting What you'll do Design and implement governance models for Azure PaaS environments aligned with CAF principles Provide technical guidance on Azure networking architecture, including VNETs, NSGs, Private Endpoints, and hybrid connectivity Configure and optimize Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies for secure application delivery Define and enforce RBAC strategies to ensure least privilege access and compliance Conduct assessments and workshops to evaluate governance maturity and recommend improvements Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements Support the development of landing zones and automation scripts for scalable governance deployment Document architectures, policies, and operational procedures for client enablement Benefits Meal or food vouchers Multi‑benefit card up to Senior Consultant Medical and dental insurance Certifications and training Life insurance Private pension Avababy: pregnancy monitoring and kit for new Avanade fathers and mothers Participation in the company's results Wellhub Daycare assistance Career advisor – mentoring Birthday Off policy on your birthday and children up to 12 years old Wellness sessions Corporate vehicle, parking and fuel assistance for managerial or higher positions Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Education and Training IT Services and IT Consulting Get notified about new English Specialist jobs in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil . #J-18808-Ljbffr
