We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud initiatives, providing tailored assistance and guidance through our global specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries.The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Sr. Advisory Consultant - Financial Services to work closely with clients in the FSI and Fintech sectors. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions aligned with their technical and business needs, driving customer success throughout their cloud journey. You will leverage your expertise to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions, gather requirements, assess infrastructure, and propose migration strategies. As a trusted advisor, you'll guide clients on industry trends and emerging technologies, lead implementation, optimize performance, and manage project risks.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to client needs.Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during project delivery.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to foster innovation in financial services.Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.Mentor and share knowledge within the organization through training and reusable artifacts.Manage relationships with C-level executives in financial institutions, Fintechs, and other stakeholders to align on strategic initiatives.About The TeamWe value diverse experiences and encourage candidates with non-traditional backgrounds to apply. We emphasize work/life balance and flexibility to support our employees’ well-being.Basic Qualifications5+ years in cloud architecture and implementation.7+ years in enterprise IT, consulting, or engineering/development.Experience engaging with C-level executives on enterprise transformation programs.Background in architecture design, migration planning, and cloud project delivery, familiar with frameworks like SAFe, TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT.Effective communication skills in English for technical and business contexts.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.Preferred QualificationsProficiency in AWS services (e.G., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).Expertise in performance optimization and cost management.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.AWS Professional certifications (e.G., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) are preferred.We support accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
