**Reporting to Tax Lead**
**Location Rio de Janeiro**
Job Specific Responsibilities
This position is expected to perform and monitor accounts payable process, perform local/regional reporting and controls, including but not limited to:
- Ensure timely payment of assigned vendors invoices and monitor all payment authorizations to payment completion following current Company policies and procedures and ensuring they align with best practice.
- Review any aged open items to ensure proper action/follow up.
- Process all invoices types (i.e PO/Non-PO) and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Facilitate rush requests from end-users or vendors for critical payments
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger and prepare management reports.
- Support on an as needed basis; bank and treasury functions, month-end reports, expense report reviews, internal and external audits and bank wires.
- Identify issues and potential solutions to improve operational processes and address root causes
- Participate in Accounts Payable monthly close process such as posting expense accruals and reconciling journal entry, invoices, and verifying balances to general ledger.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor´s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
- English fluency is desirable
**Required Knowledge and Skills**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts payable and treasury areas
- Oracle prior experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skill
- Analytical skills, excellent attention to details and time management
