Title: Shipping Coordinator-

As a Shipping Coordinator-2nd shift for the John Deere Parts Distribution Center located in Mattoon, IL , you will:

• Coordinate shipping departments activities and establish priority schedules
• Arrange and contact carriers for product pick-up and delivery, including changes in transportation methods with consideration to service and cost
• Maintain/create and/or provide data for various shipping reports, inventory locations, etc.
• Manage and control updates in various systems by shipping personnel

• 2 or more years of experience in unit processes and operations
• Demonstrated skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• 2 or more years of experience in order fulfillment processes
• 2 or more years of experience with MS Excel

• Experience working in a diverse and dynamic team environment
• Has an inclusive approach with teammates
• Has a positive attitude and a team-first mentality
• Adapts well to change
• Forward looking for continuous improvement
• Experience working in SAP

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience
