Job Overview:

The Molding Equipment Specialist will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of Injection Molding Machinery. These tasks include installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as providing customer training and troubleshooting machine failures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in technical training to improve service ability and comprehensive knowledge.
  2. Develop and implement plans for subsidiary stock spare parts.
  3. Identify and report machine quality problems and suggest improvements.
  4. Assist colleagues with on-site inventory of spare parts warehouse.
  5. Maintain company and customer safety policies.
  6. Install, repair, and maintain equipment such as injection molding machinery, linear robots, and chiller systems.
  7. Perform safety checks on equipment.
  8. Follow established procedures.
  9. Demonstrate equipment use and provide customer training.
  10. Troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues.
  11. Order replacement parts and document worn parts that need replacement.
  12. Respond quickly to customer problems via phone or onsite.
  13. Provide maintenance and operation recommendations or on-site service to customers.
  14. Document key contacts and workload of machines.
  15. Provide after-sales service and technical training for customers and agents.

Requirements:

Education: A college or bachelor degree in mechanical manufacturing, electric engineering, automation, or plastic material science; or equivalent education background with 3+ years' experience in injection molding machine design, after-sales service, or maintenance.

Background: 2 years service work or technical support work experience in injection molding machine industry or related industry.

Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, drive a car, and troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines covering controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using computers, Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and understanding mechanical drawings, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
