Systems & Data Analysis Assistant

The post of data analysis assistant is a member of the administrative team and a key support to the academic running of the school. The main role is **to** **assist the System & Data Manager** to ensure data and system input and analysis within the school. This includes all records and systems related to staff, pupils, parents and employees, but excluding anything related to the financial systems within the school.
- To support the production and edition of analysis of assessment data across the three schools (Pre-prep, Prep and Senior School), helping standards across the school.
- To support the reporting process across the school, preparing report templates, data reports, data entry and publishing reports to parents in accordance with the school's reporting policy and procedures.
- Supporting the school's systems and other 3rd party educational platform, including implementation project, daily maintenance, data migration and integration
- To support the System and Data Manager to ensure all the data complies with legal regulations. (LGPD)
- Manage the assessment and reporting deadlines, monitor staff input and to report any problems with deadlines to leadership
- Provide regular and timely academic data reports that interpret pupil information in a format that is easily accessible
- To support the School's IT team and undertake such other duties and responsibilities as the System & Data Manager may reasonably direct from time to time

**Personal Attributes & Job Requirement**s:
- To be graduated in one of the desirable courses: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Administration or any related majors. If studying, the person needs to be in the last year of graduation.
- To have intermediate written English with an interest in a continuous language learning. Also have Portuguese communication skills.
- To have excellent interpersonal skills, to be professional in outlook and conduct.
- Organised, detail orientated and a quick learner.
- Ability to prioritise over multiple projects
- Problem solving capabilities with a logical approach
- **Strong learner** and confident in their **numeral and written skills**.
- To effectively translate technical jargon to non-technical people. You enjoy teaching what you know and using data to tell stories.
- Interest in learning SQL and other programming languages
- **Excel **abilities, and experience with Microsoft office.
**Desirable** Qualifications
- Experience using **SQL**
- Experience using and creating Excel Macros
- To have previous work experience or training in **working with numbers and **data, or have demonstrable experience in **numerical analysis**.
- Previous experience of working in an educational environment would be beneficial.
