Our diverse and collaborative teams are constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.Ready to join us?**About this opportunity**To support our growth and expansion plans in LATAM, especially in Brazil, as an Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the entire Itero and Invisalign Finance Operations in Brazil and in the near future for some foreign entities in LATAM. The main responsibility involves the monthly accrual process and the Fixed Assets management. This position will also contribute with Blackline reconciliations and other month-end activities. This position will be responsible for reviewing the detailed balance sheet and income statement of Brazil entity and certain foreign entities, providing support for US Corporate requests/demands, providing performance indicators and supporting business decisions related to the businesses. The individual will be responsible for statutory requirements (including tax). The role will report directly to the Sr. Accounting Supervisor. This position will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.**In this role, you will**- Primary responsibility to control and explain the Fixed Assets variations and to manage the monthly accrual process;- Prepare the monthly lease calculations according to BR and USGAAP.- Support the consistency and accuracy of month end close for Brazil and foreign entities under US GAAP.- Must identify accounting issues and lead resolution, working with Corporate HQ, as needed.- Prepare, review and approve account reconciliations.- Day-to-day relationship within the areas of accounting, payroll and taxes and correlated areas.- Support the implementation of Global Corporate Policies as well as Accounting Treatment changes and US GAAP reporting.- Act on preparation of monthly financial statements.- For quarterly reviews/annual audit, preparation and submission of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement Quarterly Flux analysis- Support Corporate providing reports, analysis and explanations.- Take ownership of internal financial controls and compliance (including meeting SOX and International Accounting requirements).- Support statutory reporting.- Possess the understanding of general accounting concepts and requirements and has the ability to identify accounting issues and assist in their resolution.- Review and update local general accounting policies and procedures, as necessary.- Participate on finance related projects; particularly those relate to ERP/systems transitions (for example, Protheus to SAP).Sensitive position with regard to supply chain security or compliance with tax and customs obligations.**In this role, you’ll need **- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting in multinational entities- BS degree in accounting or equivalent experience.- Familiarity and user experience with Protheus and/or SAP is desirable.- Ability to written, oral and communication skills to work with management and cross-functional groups, from different countries around the globe.- English proficiency is a must;- Problem solver, system oriented and strong analytical skill.- Detailed-oriented with effective organizational and time management skills.- Ability to work with several individuals and cross-functional projects;- Ability to work independently and be results oriented.**Sound like a good fit?**Great Click the "Apply" link to let us know you are interested.
