Role OverviewYou’ll collaborate with Solution Architects and engineering teams to design, build, and scale integrations using our platform, REST APIs, Python scripting, and cloud‑based workflows. Your work will ensure reliability, automation, and technical consistency across products. What You’ll DoBuild, configure, and maintain integrations using Merge’s platform. Write lightweight Python scripts and glue code for automation and data transformation. Build and support APIs and integration endpoints. Ensure technical consistency, scalability, and maintainability across integrations. Collaborate with Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, and internal engineering teams. Document integration processes and best practices. Must Haves3+ years of professional experience with Python. Strong understanding of REST APIs and common integration patterns. Experience building, testing, and debugging integrations using sandbox/test environments. Experience working with 3rd‑party APIs and automation scripting. Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL). Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS). Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams. High sense of ownership and accountability. Proven track record of attention to detail in QA and debugging. Upper‑intermediate English level. Nice to HavesUnderstanding of AI, LLMs, tool‑calling, and prompt engineering concepts. Experience with integration platforms, API management, or ETL tools. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with webhooks, OAuth, and data mapping/transformation workflows.
