Overview

The mission of this position is to manage and support the implementation and maintenance of enterprise applications for SAP and related systems within the ACIM business unit. This role will assist in providing guidance to business teams on IT matters related to SAP and its integrations. This role will help ensure IT strategies align with business plans, supporting initiatives that drive results.

Responsibilities
  • The core mission is to create and put into action a complete enterprise application strategy focused on SAP and its connected satellite systems (systems that integrate with SAP via interfaces).
  • Expand SAP Across ACIM: broaden the use and importance of SAP systems across all parts of the ACIM business unit to become a fundamental tool throughout the organization.
  • Strategic and Tactical Guidance: advise business management teams on IT strategy, including high-level planning and day-to-day guidance related to SAP and its integrations with other systems.
  • Ensuring IT-Business Alignment: ensure IT strategies closely match the strategic business plans of each area within ACIM.
  • Delivering Effective Application Management Services (AMS): proactive maintenance, support, and optimization of SAP systems.
  • Overseeing Integration and Standardization: oversee the integration of various systems with SAP and standardize processes across the business unit.
  • Safeguarding System Integrity: protect the integrity of SAP systems and their interfaces to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Supporting SAP Strategy Development: participate in creating and refining the IT strategy for SAP within ACIM, staying ahead of technology trends and business needs.
  • Ensuring Strategy Adaptability: maintain adaptable, forward-thinking IT strategy to meet changing business requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a closely related field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems).
  • Advanced degrees or certifications are highly valued.
  • Expertise in Applications Management with a focus on SAP systems; practical experience with ECC (ERP Central Component) and S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SAP modules such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Production Planning (PP).
  • Experience in managing IT teams, setting objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering team development.
  • Strong capabilities in Project and Program management, including planning, execution, resource management, and delivering on time and within budget. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT applications architecture, including system design, integration, deployment strategies, and ability to align IT applications with business objectives ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
