Job Description

Hybrid - 2 days of home office (Monday and Friday)

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities

• Develop Plans and Schedules;
• Develop Criteria and Requirements;
• Prepare & Conduct test; Report ADV Status;
• Support Quality Processes;
• Lead / Support Evaluation Procedure Development;
• Gain and Submit Best Practices, Lessons Learned and customer surveys;
• Support ADV process to reduce Hardware and to realize RLM (Road- Lab-Math) strategy;
• Lead Export validation activities in foreign countries with local partners;
• Support Vehicle Validation - Type Approval Activities;
• Lead work with internal and external customers and suppliers;
• Participate in Problem Solving Teams; participate in DFMEA work groups;
• Build and Lead Vehicle and/or Commodity ADV Sub-plans;
• Review Program/Process Results;
• Document and Update Product/Process Knowledge;
• Analyzes and interprets resulting data from tests (resolves data anomalies);
• Maintains frequent communication with customers;
• Prepares formal written test reports; Frequent contact with team members outside of work group.

Required Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Electronic, Software, or Mechatronics Engineering, preferred);
• Experience in validation or development of electrical, electronic, or software systems;
• Advanced or fluent English;
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and make sound recommendations;
• Proven ability to influence without authority;
• Proven ability to present complex technical topics in forums;
• Innovative mindset and curiosity for optimized methods.

Desirable Skills

• Strong experience in a professional engineering environment;
• Skills and competencies with the most common engineering tools for Vehicle Infotainment or Connectivity Validation (Vehicle Spy, Canoe, Wi-Fi, serial data protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, etc.);
• Experience with DFSS and Root Cause/Red-X;
• Excellent organizational skills - Able to manage multiple projects across multiple programs;
• High level of written and oral communication skills to work effectively with others - Ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally;
• Ability to interpret and write scripts for automated testing;
• Knowledge of the Android operating system and embedded applications;
• Knowledge of vehicle audio and AM/FM radio reception is desirable.
