Tax Accounting Manager

The Johnson & Johnson Global Tax Reporting Group is recruiting for a Tax Manager. This position is based in São José dos Campos or São Paulo, and will report to the Senior Tax Manager of LATAM Tax Reporting. **The Tax Manager will primarily be responsible for supporting the Senior Tax Manager in the manage tax provisioning and tax reporting for the LATAM region, including the effective tax rate to inform business decisions**We are looking for a new team member to join us on our mission to redefine our tax team, located in Brazil. This is an exciting position in a fast-paced environment focused on agility and innovation with a team with multifaceted strengths**Key Responsibilities**:- Manage and oversee income tax provision for both forecast and actual cycles.- Manage and oversee Legal Entity Reporting (LR) for LATAM for both forecast and actual cycles.- Collaborate with GS (accounting) and BUF (finance) regarding tax accounting issues during major forecast and actual cycles.- Manage tax risks with respect to financial reporting.- Collaborate with others within the Global Tax Organization to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.- Drive end to end process optimization for tax reporting within the LATAM region.- Optimize use of OneSource tax provision software for standardized tax reporting across the LATAM region.- Partner with Sector Tax Planning, Transfer Pricing and Country Tax Centers on major issues.**Qualifications**:**Education**:- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in Accounting/Finance, or any related business is required.**Experience and Skills**:**Required**:- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in tax/finance/accounting or related business is required- Prior experience in ASC-740 - Accounting for Income Taxes is required.**Preferred**:- Advanced degree or professional certifications such as MBA/Master’s, CMA, CPA or equivalent.- Prior supervisory experience with passion for people management/talent development is preferred.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools and have an intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.- OneSource Tax Provision software experience is preferred.- SAP/JDE experience is preferred.- Knowledge of J&J Tax and Accounting policies, procedures and requirements is preferred**Other**:- Proficient English, bot written and spoken. Spanish is a plus.- 10%-20% travel requirement.
