Overview Senior QA Engineer (SDET/Automation) role focused on designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications. This position is part of the Consumer Solutions Team and requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with business objectives and accelerate release cycles. Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks and performance strategies for .NET applications, microservices, APIs, and data workflows. Perform comprehensive validation of backend systems and data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and data integrity across SQL and NoSQL environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective QA strategies, aligning efforts with Agile sprint goals. Troubleshoot, debug, and analyze distributed systems, contributing to root cause analysis and continuous improvement of testing practices. Document test strategies, manage defects and test cases in JIRA, and integrate QA efforts into CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery. Qualifications 5–9 years of QA experience with strong expertise in backend, API, and data testing. Proven background in load, stress, and performance testing for backend systems. Proficiency in automation tools/frameworks such as Cypress, Postman, or REST Assured. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with effective communication in Agile teams. Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr) and technical documentation across the SDLC.
