Job Title: Snowflake Architect Location: Brazil (remote) Contract Length: 6 months CloudHive is your North America and LATAM Snowflake-focused staffing partner. We help accelerate Snowflake adoption and maximize the value of the Snowflake AI Data Cloud by delivering experienced, on-demand Snowflake contractors and specialized talent acquisition services. We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect for a 6-month contract supporting a key client’s data migration project. You'll design and implement scalable architectures to migrate legacy systems to Snowflake, ensuring seamless data pipelines, optimization, and security. Key Responsibilities: Architect and lead Snowflake migration, including schema design, ETL processes, and integration with tools like dbt, Fivetran, or Matillion. Optimize performance, data loading, and query efficiency using Snowflake features (e.g., clustering, materialized views, and resource monitors). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define migration strategies, handle data quality checks, and implement governance best practices. Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., role-based access control) during the migration. Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Architect or similar role, with proven expertise in large-scale data migrations. Advanced proficiency in Snowflake SQL, Snowpark, and integration with cloud platforms (AWS). Hands‑on experience with data modeling, warehousing, and tools like dbt Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core/Advanced Architect) preferred.
