Netrix Global is looking for a Threat Analyst in the Managed Services - Security department, for our Netrix's Rapid Advanced Detection And Response (RADAR) Services.
The Threat Analyst will help the RADAR team in working with clients to identify threats, investigate security events, and respond to incidents. This role reports to the Threat Operations Manager.
Responsibilities include:- Engaging with clients and communicating potential threats effectively.
- Investigating technical security issues and incidents such as malware infections, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Performing log analysis, threat detection, and response activities using Elastic SIEM.
- Collaborating with threat intelligence teams to enhance detection capabilities.
- Documenting incidents and generating security reports.
- Supporting other teams to ensure coordinated threat detection and response.
- Maintaining knowledge of network and system architecture, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
- 1-3 years experience in IT, such as help desk or desktop support.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, SIEM tools, and security incident management.
- Understanding of network protocols, malware types, and attack methods.
- Optional: Certifications like CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GSEC, and scripting skills are a plus.
