Experience working in Back End and a desire to work in Go. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with React or React Native, particularly with functional components and hooks. Experience with statically typed languages such as Go, C, C++, or Rust. Solid understanding of server‑side rendering (SSR), asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and RESTful APIs. Proficiency in Redux, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases. Commitment to high‑quality coding practices, including comprehensive documentation, active participation in code reviews, and adherence to best practices in software development. Passion for staying current with the latest software tools and methodologies. Intellectual curiosity and strong problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Project Details The project focuses on enhancements and new features for the Total Wine website, specifically the rewards system and preference center (account information, opt‑in, etc.). The team will integrate promotion engineering, perform maintenance on core systems, update Node, Go, and address security vulnerabilities. Additional responsibilities may include handling backlog for the cart and checkout teams. Collaboration occurs with product managers, backend engineers, test automation engineers, UX designers, and Scrum Masters to continuously enhance the customer experience. Responsibilities Develop and maintain modular frontend web and mobile applications, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and testability. Contribute to the development and updating of shared component libraries to enable rapid iteration and consistent development practices. Mentor and coach mid‑level and junior developers, fostering a sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning. Cultivate a positive team atmosphere that encourages open communication, creative problem‑solving, and innovative thinking. Translate functional requirements into responsive components and pages with a mobile‑first mentality, championing accessibility best practices. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications. Contribute to code reviews and automated testing efforts, ensuring code quality and meeting coverage targets. Participate in an on‑call rotation with the entire digital and engineering organization, including directors and members of the product team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
