Job Purpose

The HR Generalist resolves and escalates co-worker and manager questions and challenges, and leads the development, implementation, and administration of human resources programs, practices, and procedures often encompassing several areas of human resources including HRBPs and HR COEs (Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HRIS, Compensation, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Ethics & Compliance). The HR Generalist is distinguished from the HRBP by the focus on operational responsibilities with coworkers/managers versus the HRBP focus on working with leadership to align HR strategy with the business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages questions and issues from co-workers and managers. Determines escalations and resolution through company programs and policies to COEs and HRBPs.
  • Manages onboarding of new hires including creating and developing programs to improve new hire experience.
  • Works closely with leaders to conduct offboarding process, ensuring quality of the process and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Works with HR Operations team to create, update, and customize Workday data reports as business requests.
  • Champions HRBP Workday responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with HRLT to develop Analytics initiatives.
  • Supports all Performance management programs such as Touchpoint and Succession planning.
  • Conducts Talent development local programs such as “Go Beyonds,” upskilling, and coaching initiatives.
  • Champions Workday Learning initiatives as Workday learning partner, working with global COEs to serve local needs.
  • Works closely with Total Reward COE on global initiatives and ensures the quality of information and services.
  • Assists HRBPs and Talent Acquisition team in executing recruitment improvements focused on business success.
  • Acts as the first contact for Backoffice leadership to assist the business (Finance, Legal, Operations, and IT).

What we're looking for:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in HR, especially in Talent Management.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/HR or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong values with a clear inner core of servant leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in Talent Management projects and performance management, development programs, and others.
  • Proficient in English – mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong team-focused mindset.
  • Ability to create and conduct formal presentations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
