Our client is a growing fund services provider with a strong focus on crypto and digital assets. With plans to expand into corporate services, regulatory support, and investor transactions, they are building a forward-looking team to support this growth. We are seeking a Fund Administrator to support the current Manager of Fund Administration and play a key role in day-to-day fund operations. This mid-level role is designed for someone who wants to grow into management over time as the business evolves. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with solid fund administration experience and a strong interest in digital assets. The right candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and motivated to build a career in a fast-changing sector. Key Details: Schedule: Bahamas time zoneLocation: Fully remote (fluent English and Portuguese required, Brazil-based candidates preferred)Engagement: Independent ContractorStart Date: ASAPMonthly Rate: $ (depending on level of experience) Key Responsibilities: Manage investor onboarding and compliance, including KYC/AML checks Maintain accurate investor registry records (investors, unit/share classes, transactions) Process subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls, and distributions Prepare and send investor statements, handle queries, and liaise with custodians Prepare and review investor reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings Handle transactions and reporting related to crypto assets (valuation, custody, liquidity) Ensure compliance with AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, and relevant digital asset regulations Support the Fund Administration Manager in building processes and internal controls Liaise with auditors, custodians, and regulators as required Stay up-to-date with digital asset fund regulations and apply them in operations Requirements: ~5 years of experience in fund administration, ideally with exposure to digital asset/crypto funds Strong knowledge of fund operations: NAV calculation, reconciliation, investor reporting, compliance Hands-on experience with investor services (onboarding, AML/KYC, registry, subscriptions/redemptions, capital calls) Familiarity with crypto-specific operations (custody, valuation, liquidity, transaction handling) Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks (AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS) Proficiency in Excel and fund administration software (e.g., Advent, Investran, PFS-PAXUS) High attention to detail and accuracy with financial data Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English; Portuguese required for Brazil-based applicants Nice-to-Haves: Relevant certifications (CAIA, CFA, CPA modules, blockchain/crypto finance certifications) Experience with corporate services, regulatory reporting, or investor transactions Previous exposure to start-up or fast-growing fund administration environments Growth mindset — staying updated on trends/regulations in digital assets Recruitment Process: Initial Interview Client Interview(s) Offer & Onboarding We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
