Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) powers our cloud services. As a Physical Security Engineer, you will deliver and sustain physical security infrastructure for Microsoft's online services such as CoPilot, Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Azure. Your responsibilities include managing physical security systems across various locations, participating in on-call support, ensuring systems are configured properly, and collaborating on program improvements. This role offers flexibility for remote or in-person work and opportunities for professional growth through training, certifications, and career rotation programs.Responsibilities:
Physical Security System Implementation:
Program physical access control and video systems for new datacenters.Oversee security system design to ensure compliance with standards.Maintaining and Operating Physical Security Systems:
Participate in on-call support rotation.Assess system health data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.Manage lifecycle support and compliance, coordinate maintenance, and address site security proactively.Collaboration and Partner Experience:
Work with engineering, project management, and design teams to enhance security environment.Other:

Required:
1+ year experience in security operations, infrastructure, or related fields, or a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.Background Check:
Must pass Microsoft, customer, and government security screenings including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check every two years.Preferred Certifications:
Lenel, CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS, GCIA, GCIH, OSCP, Security+ or similar.Additional Information:
