As reinsurance underwriters we are not only scientists but also entrepreneurs ourselves, creating value for businesses in the insurance and agribusiness sectors.We set our ways towards an agile working environment with the clear goal to empower each of our team members, also, we offer our employees a flexible and hybrid way of working with a diverse and challenging work environment which champions high performance, professional development, innovation and passion.Your jobDevelop and execute the agro strategy for MR of Brazil by- Supporting agricultural risk underwriting, including data analysis from a variety of sources with remote sensing, and assessment of the impact of risks on the portfolio (risk exposure and concentration).- Provide technical support in monitoring the risk portfolio through available systems and reports.- Supporting the implementation of business strategy based on the relationship and communication with peers and business partners.- Providing service and support internal departments (client management, financing, claims) in their various demands.- Supporting innovation projects through interdisciplinary work: in the implementation of digital solutions (including remote sensing), in the generation of technical knowledge, in the elaboration and improvement of new products and in the identification and connection with different partners.- Supporting profitable business growth by developing and using the best techniques and tools available on the market.- Constant updating of available technologies and tools that can support agricultural insurance in general.- Navigating and supporting projects with different clients and partners, involving different disciplines and regions/countries.- Establishing and keeping solid relationships with company employees, customers, partners and other stakeholders.**Profile**:- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, e.g. Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, etc.- Knowledge in agriculture insurance and remote sensing.- Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills- Curious, enthusiastic, with keen interest in understanding our business and market needs in order to support the team in creating solutions for our customer’s needs)- Hands on approach, being involved in all operational processes- Fluent or advanced command of English, oral and written skillsAbout usAs the world's leading reinsurance company with more than 11,000 employees at over 50 locations, Munich Re introduces a paradigm shift in the way you think about insurance.
