The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you'll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You'll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactive monitoring and performance tuning of CICS systems
• Administration and configuration of CICS regions (definitions, tranclasses, TDQs, TSQs, programs, etc.)
• Support and resolution of critical incidents related to the CICS environment
• Dump analysis and error tracing using tools such as IPCS, Abend-AID, and Trace
• Planning and execution of CICS updates, version upgrades, and migrations
• Technical interface with infrastructure, application, and security teams
• Creation and maintenance of JCL, REXX, and CLIST scripts for support automation
• Technical documentation of operational procedures and changes
• Support to projects and integrations involving APIs, Web Services, and legacy modernization

Desired Qualifications

• Solid experience providing support for CICS environments on z/OS platforms
• Advanced knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and RACF
• Familiarity with high-availability, scalable, and contingency-driven environments
• Strong analytical skills for diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Clear and collaborative communication skills across technical and functional teams
• Commitment to best practices in information security and governance
• Technical English (preferred) for documentation reading and vendor interaction
