Financial Management Leadership Opportunity The Senior Manager will oversee the Financial Reporting Team, including an Accounting Manager and two Senior Accountants. Provides direct supervision and leadership to staff. Oversees performance management, coaching, and professional development. Assists with team structure recommendations and recruitment efforts. Key Responsibilities: Prepares and reviews financial statements, reports, and surveys. Interprets and implements accounting standards, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant policies. Evaluates and implements new accounting standards, procedures, and best practices. Maintains awareness of evolving accounting guidance and industry trends. Supervises staff through all phases of the financial reporting cycle. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity. Experience in public accounting or higher education/nonprofit sector preferred.
