Purpose & Objective of Position

Expectations & Tasks
As CoE Senior Consultant for Transportation Management, you will analyze End to End Logistics Process of our global customers and present the results of your findings and recommendations to IT managers and executives. You have the chance to design and optimize complex IT landscapes, on which our largest customers run their businesses. Your area of responsibility will extend to some of the following tasks:
- Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects
- Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops meetings with internal and external clients
- Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines
- Analyze business processes including root cause analysis and technical performance optimization
- Safeguard and Optimize Transportation Management processes and solutions in an S/4HANA environment
Skills / Competencies
- At least 6 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management as implementation consultant.
- At least 4 full implementations as SAP Transportation Management Consultant.
- Deep knowledge in SAP Transportation Management, including integration with SAP Logistics Business Network and other modules inside Supply Chain Execution like SAP EWM and LES-TRA
- Knowledge in Brazil Localization is highly desired.
- Certification in SAP Transportation Management is highly desired.
- Well-developed customer focus and problem solving.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good presentation and communication skills for customer facing activities.
- Ready to travel for short assignments
Educational Requirements (degrees, class completion, etc.)
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
Qualifications:
- English language: mandatory proficient spoken and written as we will be supporting customers in all Americas region.
- ABAP code analysis and debugging skills are highly desirable but not mandat
