What will you be working on?The Payroll Manger is accountable to ensure all employees in the assigned pay run are paid correctly and on time, while focusing on process improvement, controls and compliance consistency, and process documentation; and coordinates with stakeholders (business leaders, HR, Employee Services, etc.) to ensure alignment in regards to regular payroll procedures and collaborates with enhancement initiatives, such as ensuring correction of error (COE) are produced and actions effectively implemented. Process changes downstream impact assessment & readiness. Review performance indicators to ensure quick action from team members to understand performance drivers and timely coaches the team to meet individual metrics. Monitor the team’s overall performance to ensure service delivery. Also, oversees that payroll vendor performance meets company targets in partnership with Vendor Management. They support their team development by identifying enhancement opportunities and enabling the team dynamic to improve competencies for the role- Deep Knowledge of personal income tax legislation and labor law- Familiar with payroll software (SAP, Peoplesoft, Sharepoint, and T&A systems)- Experience with process/system transitions- Sense of innovation
