Individual Job Duties/Responsibilities may include:- Prime product and/or component cost monitoring & analysis.- Standard Cost Revision (SCR) and current cost grief resolution.- Capital Management: Capital expenditure forecasting and reporting.- Financial Analysis: accomplish a high level of compilation with a broad range of accounting analysis, review data input, advise internal customers on accuracy of cost data, generate reports and provide commentary to leadership on costs accuracy, to serve as a cost governance person.- Supporting strategic decisions of medium to high complexity by conducting financial analyses for various projects and cost reduction programs, as well as comparative studies on the competitiveness of machines/components produced in different locations.- Supporting improvement projects and other initiatives related to Caterpillar's strategic business, while communicating with other Caterpillar factories worldwide.- Providing financial recommendations to global teams through economic feasibility studies for localizations, resourcing, insourcing, outsourcing, and other studies.
